— Wax Models
Form resolved in wax before it reaches metal.
Every structural decision — proportion, wall thickness, setting geometry — is worked out at the lathe. The cast is a consequence. The wax is the work.

/ Studio prototypes
Photographed straight-on and in 3/4 view.
Each model is documented at two angles — the orthographic and the volumetric — so mass, surface texture, and structural logic are all legible before the piece is ever cast.

Design discipline
Carving is where the design earns its structure.
Wall thickness, setting depth, and shank geometry cannot be guessed on paper — they are tested against the lathe and the carving tool. GIAAN's wax work carries the same design rigour as the finished cast piece.
A commission begins with a drawing. The wax follows.
Bring a direction — a material, a reference, a constraint. GIAAN works through drawings and wax before any metal is touched.
